  28. The 25th anniversary of CCA offices formation was celebrated with great joy in the presence of Shri Kumar Sanjay Bariyar, Hon'ble Principal CCA on 01-10-2025. The officials shared the roadmap for the coming year and cultural programs made the celebration special.

  33. For the promotion of Hindi as official language, a workshop was held at the office at 16-10-25. The training was imparted by Shri Vimlendra Pal Singh Bhadauria, Deputy Director (Official Language), Directorate General of Shipping.
  34. A GeM procurement training was held at this office on 17-10-2025 led by Shri Amit Patil and Shri Arif Ali Shah of GeM, Ministry of Commerce for enhancing all the officials e-procurement skills.

  41. Second DLC Camp under Nationwide Digital Life Certificate (DLC) Campaign 4.0 was organised on 07.11.25 at Charai Telephone Exchange, Thane for pensioners of the Thane & Kalyan region.

  43. A two-day training session on office procedures, file numbering, and record management was conducted on 19-11-2025. An expert guest lecturer delivered the sessions. All staff members participated and benefited from the training.
  44. On 26-11-25, The National Constitution Day was celebrated where everyone acknowledged the making of the Indian Constitution and the contribution of its makers. The event saw a collective reading of the Preamble - a reflection of the spirit and essence of the Constitution.
  45. On the occasion of National Constitution Day, a quiz competition on the subject of the Indian Constitution was also organized. Everyone participated enthusiastically in it and further enriched their knowledge related to the Constitution.
  46. On January 14, a meeting was organized on the occasion of Makar Sankranti and the New Year. The Principal CCA extended best wishes to the employees and appreciated and encouraged them to complete the set work targets within the stipulated timeframe.
  47. The 77th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotism in the CTO Building Campus of this office. After the flag hoisting and national anthem, the Hon’ble Principal CCA Mr. Kumar Sanjay Bariyar highlighted the crucial role of the Department of Telecommunications in nation-building. Senior officials Narendra Dhaktode (Controller), Ramraje Mali (Joint Controller), and Neha Kirdak Laxman (Deputy Controller) attended the office event.
  48. Telecom Outreach Programme for Q3, FY 2025-26 was held on 27.02.2026 in virtual mode in the presence of CCA Mumbai. Licensees’ issues were discussed and resolved, and a compliance-focused brochure was introduced.

  50. On 10 Apr 2026, held a Telecom Outreach Program for Q4 FY 2025-26 in virtual mode. Dr. Mali Ramraja Bharat, Jt. CCA, chaired the session. Licensees participated in the VC. Key license terms & SARAS portal use were discussed; queries resolved.
  51. Smt. Kalpana Singh, IP&TAFS Group ‘A’, HAG, has assumed charge as Pr. CCA, Mumbai on 02-06-2026. She reviewed office functioning with officers and emphasised punctuality, integrity and dedication. The office warmly welcomes her and looks forward to her leadership.
  52. World Environment Day was celebrated at the Office of the Principal CCA, Mumbai on 5th June 2026. On this occasion, saplings were planted as a symbolic gesture to spread the message of love, care and responsibility towards the environment.
  53. On 14-06-2026, observed World Blood Donor Day 2026 on the theme “One Drop of Humanity – Give Blood, Save Lives.” On this occasion, all officials and staff took a pledge to promote voluntary and unpaid blood donation.
  54. International Yoga Day – 2026 was celebrated with enthusiasm on 21-06-2026. On this occasion, respected Prime Minister, Kalpana Singh Ji, senior officers and employees participated in the mass yoga exercise and resolved to make yoga the basis of a healthy and balanced life. During the programme, the physical, mental and emotional benefits of Yoga were highlighted and various Yoga Asanas and Pranayama were practiced under the guidance of the trainer with the spirit of "Yoga for Healthy Aging", conveying the message to all to make Yoga a part of daily life.
  55. Organized the Telecom Outreach Programme for the first quarter of FY 2026–27 on 14-07-2026 under the chairmanship of Smt. Kalpana Singh, Principal CCA, and the guidance of Shri Narendra S. Dhaktode, CCA Mumbai. The programme witnessed participation from more than 50 representatives of decentralized telecom licensees. The participants were sensitized about timely compliance with the financial terms and conditions of their respective licence agreements and were also briefed on the new authorization regime introduced under the Telecommunications Act, 2023. A practical demonstration was conducted on submission of statutory and financial compliances through the SARAS portal. The programme concluded with an interactive session during which the queries and concerns raised by the licensees were addressed by the officers present. The initiative strengthened engagement with licensees and reaffirmed the Office’s commitment to promoting regulatory compliance, transparency and ease of doing business in the telecom sector.
  56. On assuming charge as Principal Controller of Communication Accounts, Western Zone, Smt Kalpana Singh had the privilege of calling on the Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra, Shri Jishnu Dev Varma on 13-07-2026. During the interaction, she apprised the Hon’ble Governor of the important functions performed by the Western Zone, particularly in the areas of non-tax revenue management and timely, uninterrupted disbursement of pension to beneficiaries. The Hon’ble Governor shared valuable observations and guidance during the meeting. The interaction was both encouraging and enriching and will further inspire the organisation in its commitment to efficient, transparent and pensioner-centric public service.
