Function

The O/o CCA, Himachal Pradesh was formed as a filed unit of the Department of Telecom along with other CCA Offices in the year 2000. It is located in the beautiful hill-station of Shimla, the erstwhile summer capital of British India and the present-day capital of the state of Himachal Pradesh.

This office performs very important functions of settlement of retirement benefits of employees of DOT and BSNL, collection of license fee and spectrum charges on behalf of the Government of India, verification of deductions claimed by Telecom service providers for arriving at their adjusted Gross Revenue (AGR), assessment of spectrum charges, assessment of License Fees for ISP-IT licensees, settlement and monitoring of Universal Service Obligation claims besides regular accounting functions.
