- FTTH Subsidy Claim Settlement under Amended BharatNet Program (ABP)
Under the Amended BharatNet Program (ABP), the FTTH subsidy claim settlement process is being implemented to support rural broadband connectivity across the country.
- • Controller General of Communication Accounts (CGCA) is the designated paying authority for the BNU FTTH Utilization Subsidy.
- • FTTH subsidy claims are submitted by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) to CGCA through the CSMS tool.
- • CGCA releases payments after verification through CCAs and deduction of penalties, if any, preferably within 30 days from the date of claim submission by BSNL.
- • During FY 2025–26, a total amount of ₹107.68 Crore has been disbursed to BSNL towards subsidy support for approximately 1,21,239 FTTH connections installed up to February 2026.
