 i)         VRS 2019 Cases

         One case out of 1397 is pending due to non receipt of disciplinary/vigilance report from the HoO.

 ii)        Regular Pension / Superannuation Cases

          As on 30.06.2026, six cases received for settlement. PPO authority are issued in five cases one case is settled under provisional pension due to want of disciplinary/vigilance clearance. Hence, zero pendency mission is acheived.

 iii)       Regular Family Pension Cases

         As on 30.06.2026, pending regular family pension case is NIL.

v)         Pay revision due to Notional Increment :-

            03 cases have been settled during the month. Hence, there is no pending.

 

“WHAT’S NEW”

Out of total number of 4379 live migrated pensioners a total of KYP of 3986 pensioners have been updated in SAMPANN and respective EPPOs are issued.

Service verification of the employees completed 18 years of service and having five years left for superannuation is being carried out by deputing officers/officials the respective SSAs. A total of 107 final pending service books in respect of different SSAs have been verified during the month and the service verification i.r.o. all the pre-BSNL employees have been completed. Hence, there is achievements of 100% in respect of verification of service book.

 

DISPOSAL AND REDRESSAL OF GRIEVANCES OF PENSIONERS

For the disposal and redressal of grievances of pensioners, a Toll Free Number 1800 3456 754 and one landline Telephone Number 0674-2396545 have been placed at the service of the pensioners.

 

 

The Pension Disbursing Authority (PDA) Section functions as a key unit in the Controller of Communication Accounts (CCA), Odisha, responsible for the direct and timely disbursement of pensionary benefits to pensioners under the Sanchar Pension – Seedha Vitaran. Since May 2019, the PDA Section functions as the Pension Disbursing Authority for the Telecom Circle, initiating all pension-related payments—including monthly pension, gratuity, commutation, arrears, —through SAMPANN and transferring the same to the Cash Section for disbursement via PFMS. Major Activities of PDA Section includes :

•             Payment of monthly bill and supplementary bills

•             Pay revision-arrear/recovery calculation

•             Collection and verification of life certificates (both physical and digital)

•             Handling pensioners’ telephone queries and grievance resolution

•             Calculation of arrears, recoveries, and supplementary bills

•             Processing of commutation and deferred gratuity payments

•             Income tax calculation for pensioners

•             Collecting and updating investment declarations

•             Preparation of various pension-related reports

•             Sending SMS/phone reminders to pensioners for life certificate submission
